I have said in the past that I was going to try to give up smoking. (again) Well, I have tried.
But I haven't succeeded.

The first thing I did was buy some 'patches'
You have two boxes of patches with 5 in each box,you put one patch on every 24hours, and you start off with the strongest and after 10 days you go on to the medium strength ones and then after another 10 days you go on to the lower strength ones. By then you should be able to manage without them.
Well,never again will I use those.

The reason?

They give you nightmares.
Terrible evil nightmares.

I smoked more.

It is recognised that they do this, the reason I am not sure.

There must be an easier way.....somehow.

Poor you, nightmares are never easy to deal with and if those patches have that affect then best not to use them. I take it you have asked for advise from the stop smoking group, did they offer any alternatives?

Best wishes {{hugs}}

Thankyou sage, yes I did ask for other alternatives and they suggested the chewing gum you can buy.
So I'll try them and let you know how it goes.

I stopped a year & a half ago using the patches! What ones did you use, as I found the Niquitin ones very good.

And during the past year & a half, I have only had 2 puffs of a cigarette & both times, it tasted disgusting! The first puff was 2 days after I stopped & the 2nd was about 6 months ago. But give Niquitin a go!
