Here are some more new species.

On the left is a new form of squid in a bright red colour and on the right is a furry crab. Never been seen before.

Wonderful aren't they?

Hi Annette, Good to see you back in Blogosphere once more. Thanks for posting on my 'Lest We Forget' posting. I do of course remember the loss of your nephew Sean Reeve and I am wondering if you watched BBC2 on Saturday night when they broadcast a programme entitled "The Fallen". It was a very moving tribute naming every service man and woman killed in Afghanistan and Irag including Sean and the two most recent Royal Marines from here in Plymouth. I was thinking of you as I watched the programme and confess to welling up with tears listening to some of the children and families talking about their loss. It should be shown over and over again to remind our people exactly what these brave men and women are doing on our behalf each and every day in these wretched conflict zones.

Stranger, and stranger.. just goes to prove that we haven't yet managed to identify every living thing on our planet yet - or destroy it.

Just found the blog and like it many thanks for a fun colourful read :-)

My first thought on seeing the 4 mariners was that they were toys, then l realised that they wern't. Amazing we know more about outer space than the depths of the sea.

Hope you get the phone saga sorted.
