Anyone for fish and chips?

This fish as a tiger fish and it comes from the Congo river which winds through several African countries.
This is a new species of fish and as you can see, I wouldn't want to have that biting me.

"What we are seeing here is kind of evolution on steroids." Says Melanie Stiassny, she is a member of the National Geographic Society.

Well, it certainly looks like it is taking it's steroids, don't it?

I am confused the Tiger fish is as old as any fish on the planet not a newly discovered secret. It is considered a major game fish in Southern Africa.
Just wondered what was new about this one.

Does it speak with a scottish accent? 'Cos if so, I think it could be MacNod!

Vetnurse, it isn't that it is a new fish, it's the size of it.
It's huge, hence the 'steroids' remark.
